About The Polytechnic

The Polytechnic, Imesi-Ile, Osun State Nigeria, a community owned private polytechnic was established on the 12th July, 2013. The Polytechnic, Imesi-Ile, Osun State received approval from Federal Ministry of Education through National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) to establish and run as a polytechnic with effect from July, 2013.

The decision to establish the Polytechnic was informed by the urgent desire to solve the chronic sound and economic problems facing the community. This gave room for education summit by the community with all stakeholders and it was resolved to establish the polytechnic with the aim of fostering qualitative and an excellent higher technical education aimed at producing a self reliant, highly skilled and oriented individual in a challenging and conducive academic environment without any element of discrimination.

The Polytechnic, Imesi-Ile is to offer academic programmes and educational services that would help each student learn and realize self chosen career usable and to lifting Nigeria up to an enviable height in the world of science and Technology.

The Polytechnic also provides opportunity for creative development and research related to the needs of teaching public services and business community through short terms courses, and other forms of continuous learning techniques.

The Polytechnic is also established to provide quantitative education for students in order to enable them contribute to the technological, social and economic development of the country and the globe at large. The Institution is also focused on build a competent and highly effective work force without discrimination on ground of sex, religion, ethnic origin and nationality in employment.

MISSION/VISION STATEMENT

The Polytechnic, Imesi-Ile was established on the 12th July, 2013 by Ministry of Education through National Board for Technical Education (NBTE). It was born out of decision of the stakeholders at the economic summit with the aim of solving the chronic social and economic problems facing the community today.

Our mission is to improve accessibility to quality education, training and employment by providing a variety of high quality academic, professional and vocational training courses in order to enable individuals obtain employment, career, profession and international recognition. The Polytechnic has a vision for students, training and development techniques in applied Science, Engineering, Business Administration, and other spheres of learning with view of meeting the present and future needs in commerce, industry and the public services.
